Oregano ILIOSTASIO Cretan Herbs
Oregano is placed on the top of greek and mediterranean cuisine. It has a spicy taste, which is combined perfectly with olive oil and lemon. Many cretan dishes are served with this very simple sauce (olive oil, lemon and oregano) such as lamb, potatoes, liver, fish ,zucchini etc. Oregano can also be used in tomato sauces, soupes, with meats, egg dishes, salads, cheeses, and vegetables. It can also make a great seasoning combined with basil and other herbs.
