Mountain Tea ILIOSTASIO Cretan Herbs
Mountain Tea is very popular in Greece (known locally as "tsai tou vounou") because of its health benefits and it is used mostly in wintertime as a health booster to fight colds and other illnesses. It is famous for its anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and digestive properties because it is rich in natural antioxidants, iron and flavonoids.
Greek mountain tea, is made from the leaves stems and flowers of freshly harvested herbs in the mountains. It is available as dried loose tea or in tea bags.
