Dafni is a dry white wine made from variety Dafni 100% with Protected Geographical Indication Crete.

It has yellow color. Its aromas has great intensity and duration that clearly show the variety from which it comes and tastes rich and balanced.

The Dafni variety is one of the rarest and oldest Cretan varieties planted on the estate of the producer Lyrarakis in Alagni a few years ago to save it from extinction. The basic characteristic of the variety is its wonderful primary aromas which are concentrated mainly in the skin of the grape. This variety owes its name to the homonymous plant (Dafni) due to the similarity of aromas.

Dafni is an amazing accompaniment to all seafood, a wide variety of cheeses and white meats.

The proper drinking temperature is 12 - 13 ° C.

Since 2006 until today Dafni has won awards in Europe and USA. For example the Berliner Wein Trophy 2014, Germany - Gold Medal and San Francisco International Wine Competition 2012, USA - Silver Medal.
