Traditional handmade Cretan Sariki (Cretan Headband) in white color
An integral part of the Cretan attire and culture. In Crete, a white Sariki is traditionally worn in weddings by the groom, the best man and close relatives, and in Christenings by the baby's father and godfather.
This traditional Cretan White Sariki is hand-knitted using the technique alisidaki by Mrs Maria. She knits 2 or 3 Cretan sariki every day. The Cretan Sariki has a triangular shape and it has small knots knitted in every side. It is approximately 110 cm long although it could reach 140 cm if you stretch it while ironing.
This traditional handmade Cretan Sariki in white colour is an ideal and affordable choice if you want your relatives to wear it in weddings and christenings. For orders of 10 pieces and more, you will receive a 20% discount.
This Cretan sariki is handmade and must be handled with care in order to last over the years. Please handwash and do not expose it in the sun.
The Cretan Sariki will be especially knitted for you upon order and you will receive it in approximately ten to fifteen days.
