It is based on white sandalwood powder and the flower plant cistus landaniferus, also known as Rock Rose or Labdanum, which grows in the eastern Mediterranean region. Sandalwood has a distinctive soft, warm, smooth and milky wood scent so it is used as a basic element in the composition of perfumes and other cosmetics very often.
