Cretan Sariki Black Alisidaki Style Anogeia
This handmade Cretan traditional black Sariki is hand-knitted by with the finest traditional thread using the technique alisidaki by Mrs Pelagia a local Cretan artisan from Anogeia, Crete, and has approximate dimensions of 1.10 cm. The Sariki is triangular in shape, with traditional hanging tassels knitted at the edges. If you want it to be longer, you can gently iron it to extend its length.
You can wear it daily, draped lightly over your shoulders, or tie it around your head.

This Sariki is a handmade piece of art and, like all handcrafted items, it requires special care to withstand the test of time. To maintain its quality, it should be hand-washed and not exposed to direct sunlight. If you wish to iron it, it is advisable to use a protective cloth.
