Tsipouro

Tsipouro is the famous spirit of Northern Greece. In the villages of Thessaly, Epirus and Macedonia, the local taverns and cafes serve their meze along with the fine traditional tsipouro produced in these areas. Its fame has spread throughout Greece and tsipouro is among the favorite spirits of Greeks.

With or without anise, traditional Greek tsipouro is made from grape marcs distillation and aromatic herbs. Its unique taste and extraordinary aroma have a distinctive greek character and definitely gladden the heart.
