Nikos Megalonissos

Nikos Skounakis from Chania collects and packs natural sea salt from the rocky shores in the wider area of Kissamos, Balos and Falassarna. The sea water in these areas is among the purest in the Mediterranean, because there are sea currents that naturally clean the sea in the northwest of Chania. The purity of the waters justifies the high clarity of the crystals of the Cretan sea salt blossom, which are white and have particularly bright. The wild sea salt "Nikos Megalonisos" is one of the purest products of the Cretan sea while the taste it gives to the food offers an intense gastronomic pleasure.
