Dafni Psarades White Dry Wine by Lyrarakis Winery
Dafni Psarades White Dry Wine by Lyrarakis Winery is a wine with a distinctive herbal character. Its name derives from the laurel (bay leaf) plant, which is called Dafni in Greek, as the wine produced resembles these aromas.
The Dafni grape variety was saved from extinction by the Lyrarakis family, when it was planted in the “Psarades” family vineyard at 480m. altitude in central Crete in the early '90s.
Dafni Psarades White Dry Wine has a bright yellow colour. Aromas of herbs such as rosemary and laurel with notes of citrus flower and resin predominate . It has a refreshing mouthfeel and intense aromatic aftertaste, in a citrus fruit background.
Enjoy it with cretan pies, salads with aromatic herbs, lentils and various recipes with legumes and sea food salads.
Serve at 10 C.
