Mplexa Cretan Red Semi-Dry Wine
Mplexa is a unique semi-dry red wine from Rethymno, Crete, boasting a deep ruby color with violet reflections that indicate the blend of Xinomavro with the cosmopolitan Syrah.
Its aroma combines notes of red fruits, dried apricot, and pepper. The taste is velvety and well-balanced, with a long-lasting aftertaste where acidity is distinct, accompanied by rich tannins. It harmoniously pairs with red grilled meats, sweet or spicy sauces, and mature yellow cheeses. Ideally served at 16-18°C.
